Welcome to a new school year! We hope you had a good summer, filled with fun activities with your family and loved ones. All of the Edgewater school staff is ready to start the 2017-18 school year. This year we welcome new staff member, Miss. Dana Denton – Fourth Grade Teacher.
Early morning drop off from 7:30 - 8:00 a.m. will be offered again this year for a minimal donation of $15.00 per child per month. If you are interested in early drop off you may stop by the office to fill out a form and pay the $15.00 before your child is allowed to participate. The $15.00 will be due the first week of every month. Students that have not paid will be sent to the office and a call home will be made. If we do not receive enough donations to cover staffing the program will be discontinued. Regular drop off time is 8:00 a.m., all students must enter through the multipurpose/cafeteria. If your child is a bike rider they may enter through the gate to park their bike.
Student attendance is very important at our school. We work together with our parents to make sure all students are here and on time. Parents must call the office at 741-0866 ext. 2 if your child is going to be absent from school. You can also email the attendance clerk, Pam Hellon. If attending a doctor or dentist appointment it is very important to acquire a note during your visit and turn it into the office. If we do not hear from you within five days of your child’s absence it will remain unverified.
